Lessons from the Conservative Right

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Larry Lessig is one of my heroes. This is a terrific video that ought to make you very angry (or at least, damn annoyed!)

The question is, what will you do about that anger? Are you in this fight? And what part are you, as a modern educator, playing in creating this important reform?

  1. I saw this guy talk about the Brazilian government and there “stealing” of Aids medicine on a documentry called Rip! A Remix Manifesto. Pretty powerful stuff. I look forward to watching it

  2. I was a bit hesitant at first…simply because I am a “conservative,” so to speak, in a profession dominated by Liberal politics. Leaning more right than left isn’t always easy in our profession, but I enjoyed his discussion on compromise–the borrowing of ideas from each other. But I cannot agree with him more on this debate. Thanks for spotlighting this video.
